ONO GRINDZ at CWC: Hawaiian Pop-Up Event

Ono Grindz means "good eats" in Hawaiian. And when the lead chef of the food truck of the same name takes over the CWC kitchen, it translates into a brilliantly good time. Come for 5 courses of out-of-this-world Hawaiian fare, homemade by Chef Jason and his ohana (that is, "family" in Hawaiian), all in generous tasting proportions.

One of beloved CWC chefs, Jason has hit the pavement with his passion for bringing Hawaiian and Asian fusion food to his hometown of Cincinnati. Having grown up with an amazing cook for a mom, and an important sense of family, he's gathered his brothers and sister and their families to bring to life for others the aloha food tradition that inspires him.

This special pop-up event has a casual, mingle-y feel that happens to be in a restaurant setting. All the food is made right before you, and passed in small batches, by Jason and his family, and a full bar of beverages are available for purchase. Grass skirts and coconut bras welcome; stretchy pants encouraged.
